Richard T. Ricketts is the managing partner of Ricketts & Clark Co., L.P.A. Rick is a lifelong resident of Pickerington, and has long been involved in and with the community. He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Agricultural from The Ohio State University. He is also a 1985 alumnus of the Capital University Law School.
Having grown up on a family farm, and with his educational background in agriculture, Rick is recognized as a top practitioner in the agricultural law arena. He is a past chairman of the Ohio State Bar Association’s Agricultural Law Committee, as well as the Columbus Bar Associations’ Agricultural Law Committee, and has served as an expert witness in the area of agricultural law in various court cases. Rick represents farmers, agribusiness and agricultural lenders throughout the State of Ohio.
Rick also practices extensively in the areas of general corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, secured lending, and real estate. As a real estate developer himself, Rick understands the issues that face real estate developers. Rick has handled many complex business and M & A transactions and he also regularly represents creditors in bankruptcy proceedings.
Rick prides himself on finding creative and cost-effective solutions to problems for clients, and believes strongly in providing high-quality, ethical representation for a reasonable fee.
